İoanna Kucuradi'nin hayatımda etkisi çok. Kendisi Türkiye Felsefe Kurumu Başkanı.
Bana felsefe eğitimimde çok destek oldu, okulu bırakmak üzereyken babamla birlikte beni ikna ettiler, Yunanistan’da yaşamam için çok yardımcı oldu. Bu büyük kadın İoanna Kucuradi hayatımın başka bir noktasına da dokunmuştu. Nikah şahidim bile olmuş. Daha ne yapsın. Saygım ve sevgim sonsuz.
Gelelim felsefeye: Felsefe insana nasıl öğreneceğini ve tüm boyutlarıyla düşünmeyi öğretiyor. Kavram felsefesi, özgürlük felsefesi, semioloji, etik felsefesi gibi inanılmaz konular var. Bazı dini tarikatlar ve politikacılar felsefeye savaş açar ki insanlar düşünmeden itaat etsin diye.
Felsefeyi çok 'ama’ ile öğrendim. Her şeye bir ama vardır felsefede. Hayatta çoğu şeye ama koymak engel koymak gibi çok lovable bir durum değil. Onu pazarlama, koçluk ve TA disiplini ile dengelemeye çalıştım. Şimdi gerekmedikçe ama’yı kullanmıyorum. Polyanna metaforik olarak hiç ‘ama’ kullanmıyor olabilir. Polyanna umuduna değil aksiyonel gerçekçi bir umuda inanıyorum.

Ioanna Kucuradi has a big impact on my life. She is President of the Philosophical Society of Turkey.
She supported me a lot in my philosophy education, they convinced me with my father when I was about to leave school, she helped me to live in Greece. This great woman Ioanna Kucuradi touched another point in my life. She was even my wedding witness. What more can she do? My respect and love are endless for her.
Let us come to philosophy: Philosophy teaches people how to learn and to think in all its dimensions. There are incredible topics such as concept philosophy, freedom philosophy, semiology, ethics philosophy. Some cults and politicians fight philosophy so that people obey without thinking.
I learned philosophy with a lot of 'but's. There is a 'but' in everything in philosophy. Putting a 'but' on most things in life is like putting a barrier and this may not be very lovable. I tried to balance it with marketing, coaching and TA discipline. Now, unless I need it, I'm not using it. Polyanna may be metaphorically not using ‘but’ at all. I do not believe in the hope of Polyanna, but an active realistic hope.
